After a crushing defeat against the Cowboys, here is the New York Giants Week 2 preview against the Arizona Cardinals. After suffering from a historic loss, New York could come back in a matchup against the Cardinals. The Giants have the roster to win this upcoming game against a Cardinals team that is not good. New York could regain their confidence from a painful loss with a win against the Cardinals. There are a lot of improvements that the Giants need to work on to win, especially in the offense line. Even though the Cardinals could win, the chaos in the organization could have them wanting a new quarterback. New York needs this win to get confidence back for 2023.

With a horrible week one behind them, the New York Giants need to improve upon the offensive line in Arizona. New York let Daniel Jones get sacked seven times in their Sunday night loss against the Cowboys. The offensive line could improve against the Cardinals’ defensive front. The Giants need to improve their offensive scheming from last Sunday and the offensive line. New York’s offense gained around 104 passing yards, with two brutal interceptions in their pass game. The Giants, especially Daniel Jones, need to improve on this system. New York receivers also need to improve, with no one getting 50 receiving yards last Sunday.  If New York is going to win, their offense needs to perform well against Arizona.

Along with the offense, New York’s defense needs to perform well against Arizona’s weak offense. While decent against the Cowboys passing game, the Giants’ defense was ineffective against the run. New York allowed 122 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns to the Cowboys offense. The secondary could do well against Arizona’s offense for a potential win. New York’s defense should take this game seriously, with the Cardinals almost winning against the Commanders last week. The Giants could win this game if the defense performs well against the Cardinals’ offense.

New York’s opponents for week two are the Arizona Cardinals, who are beginning a rebuild this season. With new head coach Jonathan Gannon, the Cardinals hope to set a tone for the team. After losing in week one, the Cardinals are hoping for a win against the Giants but is in doubt due to injuries. Arizona’s quarterback journeyman Joshua Dobbs leads their offense, which had played poorly against the Commanders last week. Along with the offense, the Cardinal’s defense, which has pieces, did not look well against the Commander’s offense. The Cardinals’ defense did well via turnovers but failed to contain the Commanders’ winning drive. Arizona is rebuilding and could be an easy opponent for the Giants.

New York Giants Week 2 Preview: Final Look And Prediction

For this prediction, the New York Giants have a great chance of winning this week’s two match-ups. The New York roster has an edge in talent due to the Cardinals doing a rebuild this season and beyond. New York’s offense could do much better against this defense with the younger, inexperienced defense of the Cardinals. Arizona’s only veterans in the defense are safety Budda Baker and lineman Zaven Collins.  If everything goes right, the New York run game could have a field day with the Cardinals’ defense. The Giants’ defense could also have a good game against a weak offensive line. New York will win this game against the Cardinals by at least a touchdown.

If the Giants can get this season going, they must win this game against a weak Cardinals team. New York’s offense must get through this defensive line to win easily. Daniel Jones needs a comeback game against a soft secondary and the run game. New York needs this win to try and get a good season out of a terrible week one.
