Chiefs GM Brett Veach also received the Executive of the Year award at the event as well which goes to the top sports executive in Kansas City. It is also given to an executive based on the impact they make in improving their team each season and winning.

It’s truly amazing to see these two people be honored for the work they do in sports and in the Kansas City area. I’ve always been a fan of city sports commissions honoring local pro athletes and sports executives for the work they do. This is great because of how well the Chiefs are doing right now in terms of winning big games and in the playoffs.

Congrats to both of them and always thankful for all they do for Kansas City. This is very well deserved for both of them.
