The Kansas City Chiefs look to go back to the Super Bowl in February; to get back there, they will need many superstars to get them there. The Chiefs had many stars last season and had many breakout players but who will be the main three who step up to lead the Chiefs back to the Super Bowl this 2023 season?

Skyy Moore WR

Skyy Moore is in his second year as a Chief and is looking to make some waves this season. Moore was drafted 54th overall out of Western Michigan University. In his rookie season, he had 22 receptions for 250 yards and zero touchdowns. Moore will be a great player this season as Mahomes looks for new weapons down the field. He will also be a great breakout candidate as he develops as a professional football player and grows to be one of Mahomes’s favorite targets.

Kadarius Toney WR

Kadarius Toney is in his third year and was drafted 2oth overall to the Giants, and this will be year two with Kansas City. Last season he had 16 receptions for 171 yards and two touchdowns. He looks to get more in tune with this Chiefs offense and build more relationships after just one year with the Chiefs. Toney could be another offensive breakout player, as he will be a big target for Mahomes on short throws.

Joshua Kaindoh DE

Joshua Kaindoh is also in his third year and was drafted 144th overall. Kaindoh had a lot to prove last season, as he spent his first year on IR due to an ankle injury. He also didn’t play last season because of the star-studded defensive line, so with some off-season moves, he may have a chance to prove his worth. Kaindoh will look to show off his skills this upcoming training camp and then will hopefully be in the top six for defensive ends for the Chiefs to use this season. With his offseason work on and off the field, Kaindoh will be a breakout player if he sees the field this season.
