The Kansas City Chiefs still have some holes to fill ahead of the 2023 season. These are three potential free agents that they could acquire. The Chief’s defense needs some good starters to fill the linebacker position and a good backup for the defensive line. These three players below have spent multiple years in the league and on multiple teams. They are also looking for a place to play the 2023 season and maybe find a home for a few years. These guys are also at the end of their careers and would be a great asset to the Kansas City Chiefs to help the younger players learn how to play on the biggest stage.

Shelby Harris is an eight-year veteran looking for a place to call home as he finishes his career. He spent last season with the Seahawks and played in 13 games. Harris would most likely be a backup for the defensive line but be a solid backup when injuries arise on the line. He would be a nice pickup, but it would cost the Chiefs some money and cap space. The Chiefs would have to let go of some lesser players to secure him on the team.

Kyle Van Noy is a nine-year veteran and spent last season with the Chargers. Van Noy is a top-seed linebacker and has been since he was drafted into the league in 2014. He will cost the chiefs a lot of money, but he would be worth it. They would need fewer linebackers on the team. Van Noy has had a very healthy career and would be a great fit for the Chiefs as he looks to continue his career.

Myles Jack has been in the league for seven years and would be a solid third-stringer for the Chiefs. Jack was with the Steelers last season and played in 13 games. He could fight for a second-string position but would have his work cut out. Jack wouldn’t cost the chiefs much if they did decide to pick him up.
