The fantasy football season is now in full swing! We are starting to see managers feel really good about their team or starting to panic. If you’re like me in one league, you sit at 0-3 and are desperate for a win. Here are my starts/sits for fantasy football in week 4.

Starts/Sits For Fantasy Football Week 4

We are starting to have more data through three weeks. We know what the questions are for each team and where their strengths are. We’ve had some surprises, like the dominance of D’Andre Swift, and some concerns, like Tee Higgins. The good news is now we have an easier time figuring out what is a pattern and what is a one-off bad performance. Onto the list!

Patriots captain Dont'a Hightower knows Saints' Alvin Kamara 'has everything you need' in a build-a-back - Pats Pulpit

Start: RB Alvin Kamara (vs. Buccaneers)

He’s back! After serving a three-game suspension, the star running back is returning to the lineup. It is a favorable lineup to walk into. Jamaal Williams is still injured, and rookie Kendre Miller is, well, a rookie. Kamara immediately becomes the focal point of the offense and has historically been a huge playmaker in the passing game. Their opponent, the Bucs, just gave up over 200 rushing yards to the Eagles. I’m putting Kamara in all the lineups that I can.

What should the Commanders expect from Brian Robinson Jr. in 2023?

Sit: RB Brian Robinson (at Eagles)

Overall, I think Robinson is a good start in most weeks. This sit is completely based on the matchup. The Eagles defensive line is one of the best in the league. Philadelphia has allowed just 121 rushing yards on the season. To make matters worse, this game has the potential to be a blowout. Last week, the Commanders got shellacked by the Buffalo Bills, meaning that Robinson only got ten carries in the game. If this game follows a similar script, Robinson shouldn’t see much work.

Panthers' Adam Thielen expected to play Week 1 vs. Falcons despite ankle injury, per report - CBSSports.com

Panthers WR Adam Thielen (19) – USATSI

Start: WR Adam Thielen (vs. Vikings)

I can’t believe that Thielen is on my list of starts in the year of our Lord 2023, but here we are! Thielen has been a favorite target of the Panthers quarterbacks in the first three weeks. In the past two games, Thielen has 18 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns on 23 targets, which is great if you are struggling for wide receiver depth. It doesn’t seem to matter if it is Bryce Young or Andy Dalton; the team seems to be feeding him the ball. Minnesota is also allowing the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this year.

Zay Flowers Feels Calm and Confident Heading Into Week 1

Ravens WR Zay Jones (4) – Ravens Official Site

Sit: WR Zay Flowers (at Browns)

Flowers has been great for fantasy football and for the Ravens. He has been on the field for almost every play. He saw 93.1% of snaps in Week 3. His target share numbers are a little concerning, but Lamar Jackson clearly loves throwing him the ball. Similar to Robinson above, this one is totally matchup-based. The Browns are allowing the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season. While I love Flowers long-term, this is the worst possible matchup.

Evan Engram, Jaguars Agree to 3-Year, $41.3M Contract Ahead of Franchise Tag Deadline | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors | Bleacher Report

Start: TE Evan Engram (vs. Falcons, In London)

London games are always tricky for fantasy football. These games always seem to be really weird and never follow the norm of the season. However, I feel really good about starting Engram this week. The Falcons have been giving up a lot of big games to tight ends. Hayden Hurst had a great game in week 1. Rookie Sam LaPorta had his breakout game in week 3. His upside is too great for him to be sitting on the bench in week 4.

Can Taysom Hill fill the Saints' void at tight end? - Canal Street Chronicles

Saints TE Taysom Hill (7) – Chuck Cook/USA TODAY Sports

Sit: TE Taysom Hill (vs. Buccaneers)

Hill is always a tantalizing player because of how the team uses him. Hill lines up at running back, quarterback, tight end, and even receiver at times. My concerns are twofold. The first is how boom-bust Hill is. He is often put in positions to score. If he does, you look like a genius for starting him. If not, you are left with a minimal amount of points. The second concern is the return of Kamara. I think he takes a lot of opportunities away from Hill. If you’re desperate, Hill is probably a high-ceiling option but try and look elsewhere.

49ers news: How today is a Brock Purdy game and why it's a good thing for the 49ers - Niners Nation

Start: QB Brock Purdy (vs. Cardinals)

Purdy is slowly turning into a reliable starter in fantasy football. His performance against the Giants was great. 310 passing yards plus a couple of touchdowns is exactly what you want out of your quarterback. He has another great matchup this week against the Arizona Cardinals. While they are not a pushover by any means, they have given up a lot of yards in the passing game through three weeks. If you are looking for an option with a good floor and potentially high ceiling, Purdy is your man.

Texans QB C.J. Stroud becomes Rookie of the Year favorite - Battle Red Blog

Texans QB C.J. Stroud (7) – Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union/USA TODAY NETWORK

Sit: CJ Stroud (vs. Steelers)

Stroud has been fantastic for the Texans and looks like the franchise quarterback of the future. In terms of fantasy football, Stroud has been given every opportunity to rack up points. The matchup is what makes me nervous this week. When Stroud is under pressure, he is only completing 53.3 of his passes. His passer rating is also a mediocre 78.2 when under pressure. The Steelers generate pressure 38 percent of the time and have the third-highest sack rate in the NFL. With how many injuries are on the offensive line, Stroud could see constant pressure, and that will affect his production.

That is my list of starts/sits for Week 4 in fantasy football. Good luck to all this week!
