The San Francisco 49ers are still undefeated following a dominating win against the Dallas Cowboys. The 49ers won the game 42-10. This is the worst point differential for the Cowboys since 2013. San Francisco moves on to a 5-0 record while the Cowboys fall to 3-2. It may be difficult to decide who needs to improve before next weekend, but this was a full-team win by the 49ers. Here is a look at the San Francisco 49ers players who stood out, and who can step up next weekend.

San Francisco 49ers Slays

Fred Warner

Linebacker Fred Warner had a great game against the Cowboys. He continues to be a leader on not just the defense, but the whole team. Warner ended the game with one sack, one forced fumble, which the defense did recover, and one interception. This kept the momentum going throughout the game. Unfortunately, the 49ers did not score following the forced fumble, but they did score a touchdown immediately after Warner’s interception.

Aside from those key plays, according to ESPN, Warner also had eight total tackles, five solo, and one tackle for loss. Warner is known as a top player on the 49ers’ defense but now is in talks for the Defensive Player of the Year. It may only be week five, but the conversation is real, and it is justified.

Dre Greenlaw

Fellow linebacker Dre Greenlaw also had a great game. It is challenging to not give George Kittle the second spot, but Greenlaw does deserve credit for being all over the field. He and Warner are a dynamic duo on the defense and a big reason that the Cowboys were only able to put up ten points.

Greenlaw is a hard hitter and always makes sure he finishes each tackle. By the end of the game, he had five tackles, one sack, and two tackles for loss, according to ESPN. The only thing that he did not do was force a turnover, but considering the 49ers did force four turnovers, that may be okay. Perhaps his time will come next week. Greenlaw is a big part of this defense that continues to dominate.

San Francisco 49ers Bombs

Spencer Burford

The offensive line, with help from other members of this team, did well blocking against the Cowboys. Purdy was only sacked one time in the game. There was a nice pass on third down in the third quarter of the game. Purdy hit Brandon Aiyuk on a 40-yard pass by the sideline. This play was taken away due to holding by Burford. Luckily the next play Purdy hit Deebo Samuel for a 42-yard pass. Overall, the 49ers’ offensive line did well stopping the Cowboys’ pass rush.

Isaiah Oliver

In a game where the entire team showed up, picking two players as “bombs” may just be nitpicking. Isaiah Oliver did not have a bad game, but he was covering KaVontae Turpin on his 26-yard touchdown reception. He just could not keep up with him. By the end of the game, Oliver had five total tackles, three solo, according to ESPN. With the whole defense playing well, those big plays by Dallas did not happen often.

This was a big win for the San Francisco 49ers. Many thought it was going to be a much closer game, but instead, it was a complete domination. There are numerous players from San Francisco who deserve to be recognized for how well they played during Sunday Night Football. The 49ers are still undefeated and will look to continue this win streak next weekend in Cleveland against the Browns. The Cowboys will next face the Los Angeles Chargers in LA for Monday Night Football.
