The New York Jets are now 4-6 after losing 6-32 to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11. The Jets lost a critical game to the AFC East rivals with a forgettable performance from Zach Wilson. The New York Jets finished Sunday night’s game with 155 total yards of offense against the Buffalo Bills. What could have been an exciting Week 11 quarterback matchup of Zach Wilson versus Josh Allen quickly turned into a Bills blowout.

New York Jets Slay

Jets RB Breece Hall slays in Week 11 as Gotham City’s most talented player on the field. Despite an underwhelming 23 rushing yards on 10 carries, Hall salvaged his day with 50 reception yards on 5 receptions with a 9-yard touchdown pass from Zach Wilson. Hall remains an elite RB in fantasy with another heavy workload heading into Week 12.

New York Jets punt returner Xavier Gipson slays in Week 11 leading all Jets offensive players with 76 yards on 4 punt returns while averaging a massive 19 yards on each return. Gipson’s effort did not go unnoticed as he tried his best to give the Jets opportunities to score.

Bills QB Josh Allen slays in Week 11 completing 20 passes on 32 attempts for 275 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Despite getting pressured most of the night, Allen played well against a top-10 defensive unit adding 15 rushing yards on 5 carries. Allen bounced back nicely after a mediocre performance against the Denver Broncos in Week 10 and should remain a fantasy lock in his Week 12 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

WR Khalil Shakir slays against the Jets in Week 11 crossing the century mark for the first time this season. The Bills receiver had a massive performance Sunday with 3 receptions, 115 yards, and 1 touchdown. Shakir picked apart the Jets’ secondary making it look easy but remaining a risky play to start each week in fantasy due to inconsistent performances.

Bills LB James Cook slays in Week 11 after being benched for fumbling in his first carry of the game in Week 10. Cook rushed for 73 yards on 17 carries while averaging a healthy 4.3 yards per carry. Cook added 3 receptions for 29 yards and a 5-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen. For now, Cook’s role as the lead back is safe after a solid performance in Week 11 against a tough Jets front and he remains a lineup lock for Week 12.

Bills RB Ty Johnson found the endzone in Week 11 finishing his night with 3 carries for 11 rushing yards and 47 yards on 3 receptions. Johnson salvaged Sunday’s performance by catching a 28-yard pass from QB Josh Allen in the second half. Although Johnson played well against the Jets in Week 11, lead back James Cook will limit his fantasy ceiling.

New York Jets Bomb

Zach Wilson bombs in Week 11 for the Jets as they faced division rivals Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Wilson was awful on Sunday despite a 5-yard touchdown pass to RB Breece Hall in the first half. Wilson completed 7 passes on 15 attempts for 81 yards and 1 interception with an additional 15 rushing yards on 4 carries. Wilson’s abysmal performance against the Bills in Week 11 along with his inability to convert on third down and, most importantly, in the red zone is the reason New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh decided to bench Wilson for the remainder of the game and the season.

Looking Ahead

Gotham City and the New York Jets hope to save their season despite remaining in 3rd place in the AFC East with a 4-6 record. The Jets announced they plan to start QB Tim Boyle in their Week 12 matchup against the Miami Dolphins with Trevor Siemian as backup, pushing Zach Wilson down to 3rd string. Tim Boyle entered the game in Week 11 against the Bills throwing 33 passing yards and 1 interception. The 2018 undrafted QB hopes to become the Jets’ primary field general but the pressure to perform is on an all-time high with veteran QB Trevor Siemian also in the mix competing for a larger role with the Jets.
