The New York Giants offense this season has been putrid except against the Washington Commanders last week. New York’s offense did well against the Commanders defense, with around 292 yards of offense. The offense with Tommy DeVito threw for 246 yards with three touchdowns against the Commanders secondary. While the Patriots defense is still stout, they have injuries holding them back. For the Giants to beat this Patriots team, they need to defeat their secondary, which had many injuries. The Patriots defense is shown to be a weakness, and Tommy DeVito, with Saquon Barkley could do well against them. This Giants offense could do well against this Patriots defense in this week 12 matchup.

New York Giants Analysis Week 12: The Defense Stepping Up Again?

 Along with the New York Giants offense, the team’s defense is stepping up big in their wins. New York’s defense against the Commanders last week with six turnovers against Sam Howell. The Giants defense could have a great time against the Patriots offense, who are having a terrible season. New England’s offense has little good happening, with Mac Jones having a terrible season with underthrown balls for interceptions.  The Giants defense, with their defensive front of Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Azeez Ojurai could beat the Patriots. Even if they could pass the Giants defensive front, the Giants secondary with Deonte Banks could break up passes against the Pats. This game could solidify the Giants defense as something special next year.

While the New York Giants season has not been pretty, the Patriots season has been a nightmare. The once-proud franchise for the past 20 years has hit a low point of having a losing season under Bill Belichick. New England’s offense has been a disaster with Mac Jones regressing and terrible scheming. The Patriots offense is in the bottom of the league in many offensive statistics, especially in receiver yardage. Even with a new coordinator, the Patriots offense has been putrid and will need changes. For the Giants while having a bad offensive year, could be explained with injuries while the Pats offense is just dreadful.
