With the Giants’ first-round pick being the 25th overall pick, they could do a lot with it. New York could select wide receiver Zay Flowers for the offense. Flowers is a potential weapon, with a good catching ability and solid skills despite his height. Zay Flowers’s abilities can help the Giants’ receiver core in the upcoming season. New York needs to add a weapon for the Giants quarterback Daniel Jones for 2023.

Along with his ability, Zay Flowers also has excellent footwork and will work well with the Giants’ offense. New York wide receiver core could have a great addition with a returning Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton. Zay Flowers would be a great Giants first-round pick. Along with the flaws, the positives of Jordan Battle game could be great, with positive results of man-to-man coverage. The Giants could use Battle in their defensive scheming with man-to-man defense for the upcoming season. If possible, Battle could do well in safety for the Giants’ secondary with second-year Dane Belton and veteran Xavier McKinney. Jordan Battle, if fallen to the third round, could solve a problem in the Giants’ secondary. 

New York Giants Mock Draft Day Three Selections

For the rest of the NFL draft, New York’s fourth-round selection could be with an offensive line in Joe Tippmann, from Minnesota, if possible. The Giants could also add running back depth with Deuce Vaughn. For a fifth-round pick, he could be a steal. Another fifth-round pick that could interest the Giants is Cedric Tillman. Even coming out of injury, Tillman could break out. With the 6th round, the Giants could use help with the defensive linebacker picking Mike Jones Jr. In the 7th round, the Giants could use defensive line depth in Warren McClendon, Jon Gaines II, and Cedrice Paillant. The Giants have a lot to pick from and could use these prospects for the upcoming season in 2023.
