Five Free Coaching Clinics To Watch

With the ‘23 spring ball season and NFL draft out of the way, there’s a couple months of breathing room for football fans. Sure, the transfer portal additions, NFL signings/trades, and minicamps will be something to monitor, but the hours of scouring recruiting sites, compiling mock draft after mock draft, and grinding through tape of prospects have come to an end for the time being. Wondering what to do with this extra time? I highly recommend diving into some coaching clinics. I can’t think of a better way to enjoy football content while also coming away feeling more knowledgeable about the game than when you began.

Online, virtually everyone believes they’re an expert and “know ball” as we say. Some do, some don’t, but the fact of the matter is, there’s far too much information available to not have a base level of knowledge and understanding at minimum. Obviously, there’s levels to “knowing ball” and not everyone has the desire to be an all knowing almanac of information. There’s a beauty in the simplicity of just rooting for you favorite team. There’s also beauty in not wanting to particularly delve into the ins and outs of complex coverage schemes or pressure packages, but wanting to understand the mindset & thought processes behind some of your favorite coaches.

Whatever your level of desire is, there’s content to feed that appetite. Clinics, All-22 film, and even some content creators that have access to both can be on the expensive side. Especially for the casual fan. Luckily, there’s some incredible clinics free to view on the internet that offer you a detailed look into some of the best programs and coaching minds in the country. I’ve complied five different clinics of varying difficulty level that I believe fans (mainly college football fans) would thoroughly enjoy and come away with an enhanced level of appreciation for the sport. Grab a notepad, your favorite pair of head phones, and go on a journey with the best minds in the game.
