According to multiple sources, Doug Meacham is set to become Oklahoma State’s new offensive coordinator.
While no official contract has been announced by the university, sources have confirmed it is a “done deal,” with Meacham set to succeed Kasey Dunn as the Cowboys’ offensive coordinator.
Meacham currently serves as the interior wide receivers coach at TCU after being demoted from offensive coordinator last season. He previously coached at Oklahoma State from 2005 to 2012 as the wide receivers and tight ends coach. Meacham also played for Oklahoma State from 1983 to 1987, notably teaming up with current head coach Mike Gundy during the 1986 and 1987 seasons.
Meacham’s coaching career spans more than three decades, with offensive coordinator roles dating back to 1991 at Georgia Military College. His notable stops include Houston (2013), TCU (2014-16), Kansas (2017-18), and most recently, TCU (2021).
In his most recent tenure, in 2021, TCU ranked 66th nationally in points per game. His previous tenure at Kansas ranked 120th in 2017 and 106th in 2018 in scoring offense.
However, Meacham experienced greater success during his first tenure with TCU from 2014 to 2016. Serving as co-offensive coordinator, he helped the Horned Frogs achieve a combined 23-10 record, including back-to-back seasons with 11+ wins.

OSU parted ways with long-time receivers coach and OC Kasey Dunn and first year defensive coordinator, Bryan Nardo, just a week. They’ve since hired two highly tenured coaches across various roles in Meacham and Todd Grantham.
Coach Gundy recently reached a restructured contract with the University and was given “specific requirements of experience” for future coordinator hires.
